Poetic Blueprint of Urban Nature
‘Poetic Blueprint of Urban Nature’ – an exhibition and a workshop program – is the result of a unique collaboration between artist Jacolien de Jong and poet Suzanne van Leendert.
Their passion for nature and worries about the impact of climate change on their own living environment are expressed in cyanotype blueprints that include poetic texts.
Anyone who participated in one of the workshops also became part of the exhibition. During the workshops, Jacolien taught how to make cyanotype blueprints while Suzanne gave creative writing assignments. A work of each participant was added to the exhibition.
The exhibition was on display from 26 August to 30 September 2022 in ZIMIHC theatre Zuilen in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
