03 Feb Winner poetry competition Woordstorm 2020
My Dutch poem ‘Wildgroei’ won first prize on 30 January during the annual poetry competition in library De Factorij in Zaventem, Belgium. This year the theme was ‘urbanisation’. Because I wasn’t able to be present myself, Peter Holvoet (former city poet from Antwerp) read my poem. This poem, and also the poems from the other winners, will be exhibited the entire month of February in the library of Zaventem.
