[:nl]Persoonlijke verhalen bij straatpoëzie in Utrecht
De documentaire SPREKENDE STENEN (46 minuten) toont de straatpoëzie van Utrecht door de ogen van haar bewoners. Persoonlijke verhalen wisselen elkaar af in een poëtische ontdekkingsreis door de stad waar je bijna op iedere straathoek verrast kunt worden door een gedicht.
De focus van de documentaire is de beleving van straatpoëzie, een universeel thema, waar de stad Utrecht als decor voor is genomen. Utrecht werd in 2017 als eerste Nederlandse stad door de UNESCO uitgeroepen tot City of Literature.

Stones that Speak (46 min.) shows the street poetry of the city of Utrecht, the Netherlands, through the eyes of its inhabitants. In this poetic voyage of discovery, full of personal stories, you can be surprised by a poem on almost every street corner.
It’s an entertaining and heart-warming film that shows how street poetry can enrich a city and is a plea to continue to cherish this art form. A subject that fits Utrecht perfectly, as Utrecht was the first city in the Netherlands to be named Unesco City of Literature in 2017.
