Sporen van de Toekomst wordt op 29 september vertoond in Venetië tijdens de European Heritage Days, in een prachtig klooster bij de Church of Sant’Elena. Toegang is gratis, inclusief een rondleiding.

In Sporen van de Toekomst documenteert fotograaf Herman van Doorn hoe Venetië aan het veranderen is. Ambachten en traditionele werkplaatsen verdwijnen en worden overgenomen door industriële producten en internationale winkelketens, die weliswaar goedkoper produceren maar tegen welke kwaliteit? En letterlijk en figuurlijk, tegen welke prijs?

Traces Of The Future will be shown in Venice on the 29th of September as part of the European Heritage Days, in a beautiful monastery near the Church of Sant’ Elena. Acces is free including a tour.

Traces of the Future is a documentary portrait of Dutch photographer Herman van Doorn, who documents how Venice is changing. Traditional crafts and workplaces are disappearing and taken over by industrial products and international retail chains, which produce cheaper, but at what quality? And literally and figuratively, at what price?
